With over 30 years in electronics and semiconductor development, Simon is a project manager and technology buff with a keen sense for business. His strengths lie in business planning, business relationship building, and an ability to swiftly move between technologies, applications and industries. He currently is dedicated 100% in the EV Charger Infrastructure space. Simon has the breadth and depth of experience needed to quickly understand manufacturers’ businesses and accelerate the identification of suitable business platforms and partnerships that will connect small companies and manufacturers with a sustainable flow of opportunities.
Eastman Partners helps its clients come up with market-entry strategies that are low-cost and actually implementable. That is their strength compared to other consulting companies.
Simon started his career as a firmware engineer and a semiconductor designer, progressing into positions of product development leadership: as a PMI certified Engineering Project Manager he spent 10 years managing large engineering teams to deliver commercially successful products.
While founding Eastman Partners in 2014, Simon served as administrator and director of business development for an important Italian steel profile manufacturer, helping it develop a sustainable presence with U.S. EPCs working in the Oil and Gas sector, internationally. He focused on new business development, partnerships, project planning and contract negotiation and was successful in introducing the manufacturer to tender opportunities with U.S. corporations worth cumulatively more than $250M in 3 years.
He currently is focused on startups in the eMobility space.
